Tears surge as my heart pounds..
My hands shake with anticipation..
What do I say? My heart speaks only of you..
As your beauty comes into focus..
My thoughts are yours, forever yours..
As I ponder this heavy heart, I often wonder, quietly, why?
Another day has passed me by; one that found my empty arms..
If wishes could be true, then Id be with you..
Its hard being your nobody, trying hard to be your somebody..
If winds could talk, they tell a tale that fills the soul with love and warmth
And just having known you, my life is for the better
For no one has made me happier, filling my life as completely
As you had made me, caressing me with your smile when our eyes meet..
Now, as the sun settles into night, loneliness reigns, Oh the pain
Yes, its hard being your nobody, trying hard to be your somebody

Oh this touched my heart so deeply....the last line of this poem gave me chillbumps i can't even describe....yes it's hard being your nobody, trying hard to be your somebody...that is absolutely breathtaking...i love this poem...thanks for sharing it....and welcome to YPDC i don't beleive i've seen your poetry before either....but i look forward to reading more....keep em' coming...
