I am from sad broken dreams, and no time for fun. Clouds of cigarette smoke, and a dark broken sun.
Hopes and inspiration, could always be seen. But intangible to grasp, all that I need.
Scared for life, as bright lights appear. Hidden away from everyone, faith begins to fear.
Parents stayed high, as floweres were picked. Pedals were burned, a child was kicked.
I am from a family burden, and constant cries. The state robbed me blind, my mother lied.
She shot up her life, my father drank beers. My family was torn, my soul cried tears.
fighting kids, suspended from school. I got in the wrong crowd, just to be cool.
I grew unbroken, but lost in time. Didn't know where to go, I had what was mine.
I hated the world, and wished to be free. But as free as I wanted, I was trapped inside me.
