You seriously don't know how much you hurt me, you think its just a game,
That amuses you when you are bored, or something just the same,
But to hear from what your mum just said, it hurts more than hell,
But you will never understand, and I'm not in the mood to tell,
I think she came between you and me, she got to you without you knowing,
She has an influence that controls your ways, but I don't think you can see,
I think you were in love, but for some reason you let me go,
Like it wasn't what you wanted, you used me I don't know,
In the end you will never know, how much you really meant
To me or the next girl in front, you just got up and went,
Without even saying goodbye, you tore my heart in two,
Soulmate, wife that's what you said, but things you say doesn't mean you do,
I know what you mean about family crisises, I bet she did the same,
To the other girl you were in love with, but she was just another name,
You got what you wanted, because my feelings for you are gone,
But it still hurts to know that I had you, but our past is messed up and torn.

| i heard in a song by maroon5 "saying i love you has nothing to do with meaning it" or sometimes people simply have weaker flesh than they do hearts. I know none of this means anything to you coming from me, and only the person who hurt you can give your mind peace, but screw them, you're a stronger person then that. as for the poem it self it was heartfelt and power, truly a great write. |
