Drowning In Your Love

The night was dull; no stars could be seen And there my heart lay in between, Estranged in darkness; a small cry of plea Such a curse that resisted me to be free.
Spirits entwining the passion of love Sends peace by freeing a white dove, My life carried away by the breeze My soul left to sail on open seas.
Sinking into waters filled with blood Creating entities of flash floods, No one to catch me as I drown Unbearable pain that brings me down.
Stabs of memories that cause such pain My heart smudged with a permanent stain, No washing liquid can ever take away What my heart couldnt come to say.
Tears reflected onto pools of fire Flames that burn with no desire, Predators await; constantly circling around Suicidal emotions running the ground.
Reflections mirrored onto walls of ice The luck of the draw lies on the dice, But no number can ever repair What left my soul alone and bare.
Tempest winds that blow with fear A thousand wounds my body does sear, Each one hurts so bad every day All were born the day you went away.
Bonds of steel that now are broken Aimless insults; now words are outspoken, Guilt reflected in both our eyes Truth concealed in a pack of lies.
Stranded here I am on a small island Every road that I take leads to a dead-end, Your words that constantly burn my heart Your face that tears my soul apart.
And every day, my eyes yearn for you Ill try to stick our love together with glue, But Im sorry if it doesnt last that long A relationship without you is not that strong.
