Somebody Else's Girl

I see you almost everyday Since I decided to be friends again I hid in the shadows because you were so great So smart and talented, you make your own fate
I don't know what I've done to have such a great friend Nothing in my life shined like a diamond ring I was touched when you said I was smart Others didn't see my potential at heart
It seems like you came from left field and your words are my bandaids to heal It's too bad that I would give you the world because you look like somebody else's girl
