Evermore

Contributed by Quilted_rag_doll on Saturday, 26th March 2005 @ 05:47:38 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Forsaken,
Devoid of iniquity.
Chased by malign voices,
That whisper demonic words.
Which fill my ears,
And inundate my thoughts.

My feet tread,
Over the hollow earth.
As I cross the graveyard,
That is my mind.

Death's intrusive creatures,
Pursue me on their
Cimmerian, calamitous wings.
Rapidly approaching,
The tomb that is my sanity.

I sink to my knees,
And whisper a silent orison.
Opening my eyes,
I gaze before me.

Incised upon the surface,
Of the glacial headstone.
Were the words:

Un esprit damn,
Une me torture,
Celui qui est perdu.

A damned mind,
Tortured soul.
The one who is lost.

For my mind is cursed,
My soul is tormented.
And I am eternally
And abysmally lost.

I am a man of simple words.I must admit I don't understand all I have read here, but I wish I had your use of words.
Sinned

I didn't know how to reach you,but here is your poem you sent me."Webtv is a box that allows one to use te enternet. I don't understand how to cut and paste. Your poem.

Unto me

Sing to me
Tell me your dreams
Whisper your fears

Don't you hide
Show me your eyes
I'll catch your tears

One by one
I'll gather them
Unto me

Take my hand
Tell me your secrets
Whisper your scars

Gaze above
Show me your wishes
I'll catch the stars

One by one
I'll gather them
Unto me

I'll sing to you
Stand before you
Take your hand

Lets gaze above and see
Then one by one
I'll gather you unto me
