LoveRemembered

This room is filled with memories Memories of your gaze Memories of how we began And memories of the days When everything was perfect And laughter filled this room Now this crowded empty box Brings back so many memories of you I'm looking at the very spot Where my whole life began Remembering your nervous smile As you took my trembling hand The beginning of a happiness I may ne'er again believe Took place on that very day When you smiled at me
