She has a free spirit like a bird flying high
Sharing love and kindness
To all who pass by
However, having such a giving and open heart
Allows those who take advantage
And tears her apart
One can only give so much.
She feels one day she may slip,
Leaving a wounded free spirit
As though her wings have been clipped
I can feel your heart is full of pain
For I feel you pain in my heart just the same
Oh, Free Spirit, Please don't give up and
Let life pass you by,
For I will always be here by your side.
