It's been awhile
since I seen you smile
you have no shadow
and there's a blank look
in your eyes,
forever bleeding
never knowing why
you wanna roll up into a ball
and die.
There is no escape
there is no where to hide
you are hurting so bad
all you can do is cry,
It's effecting your life
keeping you awake at night
don't know what to believe
or what's wrong or what's right.
Illusions dominate your world
there are no more dreams
you are just a number
a part of the routine machine,
empty is the look
just a face in the crowd
in a world where happiness
is not aloud.
Well it's been awhile
since I seen you smile
the wounds never heal
forever bleeding
until you die,
I know that feeling
of the burning confusion
that keeps you up late at night
yes I feel what you feel
maybe together we can survive.
