Tonight by the fire
As shadows play upon the wall
I bask in your love
The memories I recall
The rerun of emotions
The moments of our past
Preserved by my heart
Forever to last
The first I love you
Honey from your lips
Thrill and desire
First touch of gentle fingertips
Eyes aflame with love
Igniting passions anew
Yes-dearest pet
Such are my memories of you
Later tonight by the fire
Firelight dancing as shadows upon your skin
Resting in loves embrace
New memories begin

| I agre with oreo...very nice. Made me want to get a fire place and have my wife and I beside it. Please write one for the day after. Thank you for a wonderful poem. |
