Just Here

Contributed by gabby521 on Wednesday, 30th March 2005 @ 07:51:23 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Sometimes I feel like I'm just here
And I'm living in the past
I have to wonder, when will it end?
How long will this memory last?

I need someone to take away
The feelings that you still give me
I need a distraction from my life
Someone to again make me happy.

As I remember on what we had,
And want for it again
I ask myself, Am I wasting my time?
Will it never go away, this pain?

When you were mine, and I belonged to you
I was never less than beautiful.
You noticed me when others could care less
You made my days so wonderful.

How is it now that I'm just here?
A nobody in the this crowd of noise
I can't say I'll never again feel for one
As I felt so deeply for you
But until that day when Love decides to grant my wish
I'll just be here, rememb'ring your kiss.

I'll just be here to let Loneliness thrive
And I'll hope you'll come around
To see that we're both just here without eachother
My heart is glued to the ground.

A beautiful and heartfelt poem. I think that at some time or another we can all say we feel this way, but right now I know exactly how you felt.
