Why the hello?

Why go the extra mile?

Only to let me go..



Why the laughter?

Why the jokes?

Why wipe the tears?

Only to be gone like a smoke..



Why the hugs?

Why the caress?

Why the gift of mugs?

Only to break your promises..



Why did you

Come into my life?

Make me fall in love?

Then left me without further ado..

i liked the way you said it like it is and didnt add a bunch of jive. nicely written
