You never thought youd feel sadness or ever begin to doubt
Well now youre crying in silence vanishing while you shout
You never were conscious of your own heart until it began to bleed
Suddenly its crying out sighing over that one love you need
You never thought youd feel anger and lock yourself up inside
Well now youre fists are bruised as you slam the door in which you hide
You never realized you were happy thinking that it all would last
Suddenly every seconds gone somehow so youre living in the past
You never knew of taking things for granted being so set in your ways
Suddenly memories are all you have to hold missing the good old days
You never thought youd realize the irony and question why we live
Well now youd love to go back to the start even the future you would give
