Her emotions are hidden, behind the shield
In her head she's running through a mine field
But the mask covers all of her fear
It seems her emotions have been wiped clear
Colors are gone, her life's black and white
The mask contains darkness, repelling the light
Her heart is made from ice and snow
The mask won't allow her emotions to show
On the outside, the mask has visible erosion
On the inside are all her hidden emotions
On her the mask is stuck, it wont go away
It gets tighter and tighter, day by day
The mask controls every move she makes
From walking to every emotion she fakes
She wouldn't have put it on if she would've known this
Before her life is gone, removing the mask is her only wish
Some people will never believe
Some people will never see
The girl behind the mask is me
And from the mask I will never be free

This is a very emotional write. I think if you gain enough courage you will be able to take off this life repelling mask
