inbetween

i walk a path of choices
good and bad along the way
i dont know which one to take
i dont know which is best
i feel like i have to run before i have learnt to walk
i have made some bad mistakes
and iam still making them
i dont know how to make them right
wait im wrong i do
but i dont want to
im inbetween
i hear voices telling me what to do
but do i listen
no
i cant
i need to make my own choices
but if i dont know what i want how can i?
how will i make something of my life?
my friends are there for me
but they dont understand
they say i act too old
but inside im a frightened girl
not a young woman
i want someone to hold my hand
and guide me through life
i have choices here and there
but i dont know where iam in my life
i dont know where i want to be
but i want to know..how to be there and know what i want to do
in between i stand
i close my eyes
and the answers dont come
i cry out inside
iam so confused
i just dont know what to do
im recking my own life by not knowing what to do with it
iam like a little girl
i need a mother to hold my hand
to cross the road and get to the other side
to be safe
and walk along the path
but im inbetween with the choices driving past
im trapped
i need advise
WHAT DO I DO?!
WHERE DO I WANT TO BE?
ALL I KNOW IS,IM INBETWEEN...

In between is a confusing place...I don't have words of wisdom, but I wish you the best of luck, and send you a hug whenever you need one. Your expression is heart rendering...keep writing with the same passion,no matter the subject

Great poem.
May there be light in your darkest moments
