Full blooded and safe

Contributed by Nardo on Monday, 4th April 2005 @ 05:24:33 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

I don't like the voice in my heart
telling me to run away with
what you have given me
yet
my heart screams out for more.
What it comes down to
is a choice that should come on its own
but heartstrings pull too strong
and I want them to reach
out to you and pull you
to my side.
I don't like this aching I feel when
I think of you,
telling me
you'll be what I want and need,
maybe with fingers crossed,
or is that just a young boy
running from his fear?
My voodoo dolls are laced
with
Wishes
Hopes
and
Desires
to taste you once again,
full blooded and safe.
