I want to cast a circle,
burning lavender on charcoal bricks
while envisioning your face
rising in the smoke.
Feeling my chest burst open
as my breath fills the air
sending out the deed to be done.
But,
to what do I call upon
this magick for?
in times past,
trying to make right
what feels so wrong,
wishing upon prayer
and
praying upon wish
so strong
that out of despair
I caused my suffering
to be worse.
And now,
its my want
that over powers my need,
that I wish to send out
my heart
and place it in your hand.
