I cry with the loss of another
day that has already passed
to know that the time I came to
visit you was my very last
I said goodbye and walked
out the door with tears glistening
in my eyes trying to hold them
back so you wouldn't see me
cry I didn't want you to know
that your death meant so much
I didn't want you to see how
much I hurt inside whenever I
sat and cried the days have passed
that you are gone with the thoughts
of your death and all that you have
left behind I cry now just thinking
of you another day has passed and
the pain is still strong.
