Rain Washes Away The Pain

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

As I sit up in my room
Thinking of you
Every time that I did it
I was thinking of you
So that is why I am saying
That I dont want you anymore
Because you made me miserable
All I got from you was lust
Never love
Never truth
Just lust
So thats why I always did it
Thats why I always cut
I never cut because of stress from my schoolwork
Or stress from my parents or friends
It was always you
I dont know what I saw in you before
Maybe it was false hope
But I know it wasnt true in anyway, shape, or form
Because you never really loved me
No matter how many times you told me you did
I dont believe it anymore
Youre a dumb piece of crap who used me
And I will always hate you for it
There arent very many true happy moments
Moments from our past
Because you lied
About everything you said to me
You could actually tell me the truth now
And I wouldnt be able to believe it
Because you lied so much
There is no amount of love you could give me
To change my mind
To have you back again
But I have found an alternative to cutting
And its walking
And not just walking anywhere
But walking alone
In the rain
Just walking alone
Helps me feel like I can think everything out
And not have any bad opinions coming back at me
Its all me
No one else
Its truth
Its not fake in anyway, shape or form
I can think of how much I love my friends and my family
And how much everyone else means to me
Even though I didnt spend
The time I shouldve with them
When I spent it with the boy
The boy who broke my heart
But this broke heart
Can be fixed
By everyones true love for me
The love I know that everyone has
And thats all I truly need
So thats what I think about when I walk in the rain
Its like poetry
It gets my feelings out
And I can express it anyway I want
And no one can judge saying its great or its a nice try
Because its true
And its only you
So as I walk back home drenched
Drenched from the rain
I see a rainbow
And it reminds me that even when things seem bad
And you are expressing yourself in the rain
Something always good comes from the truth
Its called a rainbow
A rainbow of colors
Of different kinds of smiles
Some blue smiles
Some red, green, and yellow
But they all smile down at me
Telling me that everything will be okay
That I dont need to resort to cutting
That I can resort to the rain
Because nothing bad ever really comes from the rain
Only smiles
Never frowns
Frowns are colorless
Frowns are the clouds that come before the rain
That happens when you are going through the bad experience
But then it stops
And it starts to rain
So remember
To always express yourself in the rain
Cause rain is like your tears
Falling from your face
And the rainbow is your smile that happens
Because you have finally become to the end
The end of crying
And the start of your new life
The new life of smiling
But you cant have smiling without the frowns
So remember
You have to stick through the clouds full of water
Waiting for it to rain
Until it rains
And when it rains
You will feel better than you ever felt before
So once again remember
That the rain and rainbows will always be there for you
Because rain washes away the pain
