Sun rises on an empty day
So much at stake, so much at bay
A maze of thoughts, times passing me by
Must take my own path, must learn how to fly
Paint the world black, lace it in white
But only with colour will this journey take flight
I ran the mile, I've sailed the sea
But follow the butterfly, and fate this wll be
It leads the way, the path to seek
Unfolds a path when future's bleak
Then birds will take flight, rivers will flow
Hear this sweet tale, and soon you shall know
The path of the butterfly
It's perfected in white, it dances with grace
Could arrive without sound, could leave without trace
Perhaps life will slip by, and you'll never see
How this could lead the way to what you shall be
But I hold a secret, and it's not a lie
