Why am I here,
And you're there?
Why do I love you,
When you simply don't care?
Why am I hurt,
And you're healed?
Why are you numb,
When I have to feel?
Why is my heart in pain,
When yours doesn't ache?
Why did mine shatter,
Why didn't yours break?
Why is my candle aflame,
When yours isn't burning?
Why has my world stopped,
When yours is still turning?
Why is my soul sad,
When yours isn't torn?
Why am I cryin,
And you've yet to mourn?
Why are my tears falling,
When yours don't form?
Why am I cold,
When your warm?
Why can't I sleep,
And you do?
Why am I sad,
And you're not a little blue?
Why am i missing you,
Why aren't you longing?
How do you know where you are,
When I don't know where I'm belonging.
I don't know,
And you always will.
You don't love me at all,
But I'm here loving you still.
I can't say much but why,
All I can do is cry.

This is an excellently written piece of poetry. It's deep, sad and very emotional. You've expressed yourself very well and the flow of ur poem is great. A sad, but wonderful write. Well done

20 questions that I also have yet to find out from my ex of 5 days. I'm right there with you. You express your emotions and your thoughts so well in this poem and it's so meaningful. Awesome write and I hope things start shaping up for you. And btw if you ment anything to him at one point, he is hurting he just won't show it. I bet he goes home every night and is upset over you. That's what I hope about my ex too. Anyways sorry this is so long!

| This is an excellent write! I'm sure there are tons of ppl who can relate to this poem. I can relate to this, but from the other side. Just b/c u can't see if ur ex is hurting, doesn't mean they're not...sometimes they just won't show it. That's what I did. Good luck. Tanya |
