Two Of A Kind

I can see that hole in your heart
The one that I had made
With words that shattered who you were
And smiled as you laid there crying

I can hear my voice in yours
As you speak to me with such anger
Your eyes can penetrate right through me
Showing me things that I needed to see

I can feel this weight
This weight upon my back
Grasping my head and clogging it with words
Liesall of them

I can kick my door
Throw my shoes
Lie on the floor crying as I pull my hair from my scalp
But such words that weve exchange
Have crushed us and left us begging for some sort of comfort
That we have so longed for
