This poor little girl
she's crying the world
yet hiding inside
with no one to confide
and as her heart goes on breaking
the more she'll be faking
that everything's alright
and that everything is bright
but I bet you couldn't tell
that I know this little girl well
she's stuck in my mirror
and it's all getting clearer
that to ignore her is wrong
and that I need to be strong
but when she needed a hug
I just gave her the shrug
and all of this neglect
it's starting to reflect
on little girl's soul
and now I'm paying the toll
because I didn't want to see
that little girl is me...
