I am a lonely soul,
With no one to call my own,
So I write to ease the pain,
I write in hopes I'll remain sane,
Everywhere I go I see a woman and a man,
Walking down the street hand and hand,
Is there someone for me,
Or am I living in a fantasy,
Must I live alone,
Can I have a happy home,
I only have me, myself, and I,
Do I not have a heart, why must I cry,
Can anyone hear my lonely calls,
My heart cries but nobody cares at all,
I'm lost in a maze,
My mind fogged by haze,
The pain is almost to much,
Can I feel a loving touch,
I want to look into the eyes of someone who cares,
This world is so unfair.
