I try to hide
Running from my life
Inside my mind
Memories that choose to stay
Too much at stake
What have I made?
I just wanted to scream
But no one was there
To listen to my pain
So I buried the anguish
Inside of me
And now it's back
Crawling inside
Wanting to be free
So who were they?
That did this to me
Who made me insane
I trusted them
More than anyone else
But they didn't stay for me
And now I feel more naked than before
The pain inside is taking over me
A cool breeze inside my mind
Like someone has opened my door
I feel more empty now
Things I thought were mine to keep
Gone

This is a very sad poem....Things i thought were mine to keep ....Gone....that's a very strong line and message in this poem....thanks for sharing it i hope your pain lifts from you...
