Dear diary this will be my first entry,
But I have emotions brimming in a plenty,
As no-one listens to me but you,
You dont say things that will make me blue.
You never judge or criticise,
You never whispers to me any lies,
You let me get all my emotions out,
You are my one true friend no doubt.
I live my days feeling invisible,
This makes me so down & miserable,
How I long to be like everyone else,
Instead of being up here alone on this shelf.
Nobody notices me they just move along,
So by myself I think I must belong,
I have no friends & I never have,
Behind my back they always laugh.
They stayed away from me at school,
Said things that were mean & cruel,
They thought my depression they would catch,
That under their skin a disease would hatch.
How I long to have friends who would call,
Someone to pick me up after my fall,
But all I have is the pain & the hurt,
Of being left alone outside in the dirt.

This hit home for me because I started writing the dear diary in third grade. It evolved into a journal form of my thoughts, memories, yearnings and the secret tears I wrote of inside.
It is tough viewing the sadness in your poem Pix. When I see so much obvious talent, beauty, depth and a huge heart.

a touching poem. alot of the issues raised i can relate to. i started writing a diary about a year ago and many of the things u said have featured in my diary.
i really like the way you expressed the feelings in such an emotional way.

Written with so much emotion it almost hurt
to read it. I think you do have friends though
sometimes it is just hard to see them. Keep
on writing out your pain as keeping it all
inside doesn't work.
