This path was unchoosen, The path we call fate, The uncalled visions, The time was too late.
A rule we were given, A gift we use, Our freedom now taken, Although we don't choose.
Take it from me, Give me in return, A death from your kiss, Rain falls when you burn.
I cry, I pray, I challenge death, I stumble and hold my long last breath,
Why do I keep loosing, Why have you read, All my poems mean life, After your dead.
Its pointless, Its meaningless, Its your obsession, A re-write of reality in my possession.

I don't know why no one has commented on this. It's a powerful write. The rhyming couplets are great, the last two being my favorites. Keep writing! |
