The Way I Am and We Are

There are ways I could communicate with you
And times that I could express our devotion
But never will I be able to reveal all inside...
You try to change the way I view life
And how I treat my friends and my ex
You keep telling me your way is the right way...
And then I cry from all this stress.
We fight like we should be married and all
And all the while I am trying to comprehend why
Why we can't seem to sit down and talk this out
And why we can't just agree to disagree...
Then I remember how you tried to give me a ring...
I am sorry that I said no that the timing was
Well, that the timing was all wrong,
But, Baby, when you have failed at love as I
You just want to give up.
