what do you do
when you have so many friends
but none of them are true
you want to believe that they do want to hang out with you
and that they don't think you're clingy
but how long can you really fool yourself
you know they think what you say is weird
and you know that they don't talk to you as much as everyone else for a reason
but you continue to try
you want to be accepted
you want to be as cool as your "friends"
you want them to think you're fun to hang out with
you try everything
even though you know that you should just be yourself
you can't help it
all you want to do is belong
so what do you do

| Good poem. Are you still in high school? That's the way it was for me in high school, but I just kept being myself. Now I am in college, haven't changed anything, and I am on of the most popular ones there. Sometimes you just need a fresh start with different people for them to see how kool you really are. Keep up the good work and good luck |
