Given
All my blood, sweat, and tears
To make something more of myself
More than I was before
So maybe you would see me
Given
All the strain, anguish, and pain
To give myself hope
Hope that you might
Let me hold you in my arms
Given
All my effort, time, and energy
So you might find
That I would always be there
And that I wouldn't give up
I still don't have w-hat I want
And I have nothing left to give

A very well beautifully written piece of poetry. I love the flow of the verses, although u can also sense some sadness behind the lines. Goodluck and I hope things work out 4 u.

| I agree with mina, the flow of the poem was excellent, and the length of each verse gives an extra punch to the pain felt behind this. nicely done. |
