Tears welling up in my eyes
Its not a really good reason so I know I wont cry.
But all this frustration swirling in my mind his true feelings I wonder if they hide.
All his words screaming in my head
Like your really beautiful and the nicest girl Ive ever met.
But instead of joy I feel confusion
I dont want to question because a friend I might be losing
My friends filling my head with misguided pollution.
I wanna not like him, but believe me its hard
My feelings like cement too hard to discard.
Then I see her calling to him
And I pray he hasnt given in.
But he has I would feel so dumb
Because I know all shell do is hurt him.
Its so hard to tell if hes just being nice
And I hope he takes his friends advice.
But if he has made the choice thats oh so wrong
All my respect and feelings for him will DEFIANTLY be gone!

I enjoyed reading your poem. I have missed a love that’s walked away for another and this poem brings back good and bad memories. Thank you for writing.
