You were waiting there for me
I had written you a note afraid to give
Standing there smiling, your box in hand
You made me forget woes and want to live.
You gave me a gift in your metal box
Told me to take care of it for two whole weeks
I put my stuff on the bus and finally gave you the note
Finally everything was told and i didn't feel so meek.
I found out you liked me as I liked you
We decided to go out and give that a try
I gave you a hug and boarded the bus
Thinking of two weeks apart almost made me cry.
I smiled the whole way home on the bus
I was the happiest I've ever known
Things that happen to each of us
Should always be shared and shown.
