Inner strength and honesty, supposed virtues, crushed by complacency. A heart and will is not enough, they turn their backs when times get rough.
Your soul is questioned, a relentless attack, your head held high, be strong, fight back.
But some battles can't be won, you have to walk away, grit your teeth and swallow pride, your time will come, but not today.
