Nothing short of spectacular
Is this rock we float upon
Many questions but no answers
Are these books we rely on
A dream within a dream
Hypnotized, nothing real
A prisoner it would seem
Awaiting my last meal
Look to the heavens
Pray for a sign
Pray for the heathens
Who wont reconcile in time
Wounded and depraved
The sky becomes thin
Its the road that we paved
No one can possibly win
People are afraid
They wear it on their skin
You speak of freedom
Yet you breed contempt
You have chosen the victim
Darker then you ever dreamt
Motionless words
Stagnant at best
Feed for the birds
Spew out whats next
A solution, no doubt
A prophesy bestowed
Redemption, no doubt
To whom am I now owed?
