Why do you have to be so far away
It's like going though life with blinders on
No matter what I can't see or hear you
I run to find you calling a name
that name is unknown for I do not know you
I've never met you, I look but can't find you
I run and run but have not moved
They grab me and twist me around
holding on to me so I can't be free
They will never let me go, I know that now
these cruel men that haunt my dreams
I scream out NO but to no avail
Will you come help me
Can you hear my calls
I pray that you do
For I wish for this suffering to end
My life is not my own without a knight
to help me defend my womanhood
If only I had proof I'd give it to you
of the horrors I suffer when I'm with men
