Late to Imagine

It was always late
Inertia reigned the darkness of the illusion of my world
A far cry away from a conjectured future dreamt around for ages...
And I was always sad
Writing of pain and fear, whispering to myself that's 'It' for me to know
But that I wanted 'It' to be different somehow, someday...
You weren't always there
In fact, lost time has made me want you harder, to make time last longer
It's: the rhythm of your voice, an expression on your face...
I always tell you my secrets
Important or not, and I feel the need to make you aware
It's the same today...
I always wanted to be famous
To feel an emotion to an extreme degree, to be rendered: Extraordinary
And when you kiss me, I feel that way...
I always thought that was significant
And I wanted to tell you when you looked into my eyes, many times
But the words would slip away...
And it is still late
Too late in the absolute realization of my desires to build upon these thoughts
But not to late to hope for change...
And I've always loved you
From the first conversation to the very last touch & whatever inbetween
That will always stay the same...

| absolutly beautiful,touching,vivid,heart-felt poem! i think it was amazing and tat you are a great writer, thank you for shairng. i especially liked the last stanza! nice way to end it! |
