Solar system out of whack
Im crashing forward, falling back
To a world that I once knew
And in this wreckage Ive lost my crew
Strange planet, nothing here
Lost my sense, Ive lost all fear
Lost belief in heart and myself
And like a dying sun all hope melts
This shadow of dreams is nothing new
Ive seen it before, its Dj vu
Out of nowhere it grows in you
When your own life is nothing new
Behind the trees I hear a sound
But something else is all around
I am not safe I am not sound
Im forced to run to higher ground
And as I run I dont look back
Somethings coming and coming fast
It chases me for reasons unknown
And here on this planet Im all alone
Then suddenly I come to terms
I am my own, that much Ive learned
I may be alone but Im all that I got
So I stand my ground, stand tall in this spot
Suddenly the planet shifts
The footsteps stop out on the ridge
The creature that was after me
Was nothing but my own fear you see
Passed out after, I cant recall
Heard the planet swallowed whole
My guilt and shame in life Im told
And sent me off, on a trip for home

nice write, i love poems about dreams!
ur rite, it does have a good message in it, i liked the bit when u stopped and stood ur ground!
