You Remind Me

You remind me of a flower
In a full glorious bloom
Or the sun coming over the mountains
Right before noon
A raindrop from the heavens
Falling directly upon the grass
Quenching and refreshing
From each delightful splash
Or a breeze that brushes upon you
At the hottest point of the day
Delicately awakening all your senses
In a rejuvenating kind of way
You remind me why I love you
Why Ive chosen you by my side
Youve brought out the best in me
That with others I choose to hide
And like a snowflake in the winter
You mount upon my heart
Im devoted to you forever
Until death do us part
