She had my heart
She took it away
Yet my feelings for her still stay
To this very day
Lying alone on the surface
Alone soon to be joined
By a nothingness
A nothingness that will push them away
So it can be alone on the surface
She had my heart
And she rejected it
Yet my feelings for her still remain
They will not perish
For I will try again some day
But until then my feelings remain
Alone on the surface
