Request for Prayers

Contributed by NightOwl on Friday, 15th April 2005 @ 04:31:49 PM in AEST
Topic: Tributes

This is simply a plea for prayer
For someone very special
She is one of the best people in the world
And she has touched my life beyond description...

I grew up around her guidance
I have known her for as long as I can remember
Always a source of wisdom, direction
She has changed my life in so many ways...

She has gone through so much
And she is an inspiration to all
But now she has, once more, been asked
To carry yet another burden

She has breast cancer again
She had it when I was small, and it's returned
My mom had it, and this a situation all too familiar
All I ask is that you pray

As a nun, she is close to God
And it would mean so much to her
If she knew that many were praying!
PLEASE, I'm BEGGING, pray for her
God granted us the gift of her life
And I don't know how I'd live without her

This really isn't a poem
It's simply an urgent request
I can't lose her...

When Mom had cancer
When I lost someone dear
When I was afraid
Through the trials, agony, fears, and pain
That I have carried these year
She has been there for me
Through thick and thin
She has been my light
Always there with open arms
And a gentle heart
Never wavering
Until now...

PLEASE PRAY!!!

both of you have my prayers, 2 corinthians 4: 8-9, 11-12 "We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; We are perplexed, but not in despair, Persecuted but not forsaken; struk down but not destroyed" Be strong, God will not forsake you.
