she says she's not beautiful
but i have to disagree
she says that i'm so attractive
she'd rather look like me
and she looks into the mirror
and can't face what stares back
but with all her faults and flaws
beauty she doth not lack
she wont listen when i tell her
she blocks me out when i try
she wont accept the truth of it
her beauty she denies
i dont get why she wont understand
she sits and cries over it all
relying too much on what others think
in her shallowness she falls
but here i am to remind her
that there is so much more to this
why try to change herself
when she's beautiful the way she is

You are SO nice to write this for your friend. She should appreciate this, if she doesn't, shame on her. She should know that she's beautiful the way she is.
If one of her friends (i.e. you) says that she' s beautiful, then she is beautiful.
One can always count on friends to tell you the truth.
