i close my eyes
in order to hide
the love i give
and you toss aside
i see you
see you seeing me
but never seeing
nor being
you try to say
that you really care
then why not a glance
or even a stare?
no more lies
no more deceit
i can see
that i can't defeat
i won't look at you
cause then i wont see
the love you give
to everyone but me
im done
im finished
im starting my life
that you've already blemished
my heartbreak is gone
i feel alright
just wait till the morning
when the sun is so bright
i hate the daylight
cause eyes open wide
just give me till then
to suck up my pride
morning has come
im doing fine
now yesterdays gone
and it is all so sublime...

| Nice poem and it flowed so well. I really felt what you were trying to say and it is hard to love someone who wont commit to just you. I like the ending it was well written. Thank you for your work….Steve |
