bringing luck and love
And I am not the arrow,
But the bow in which I may cast
the arrow, to give you love.
I am Cupid
bringing light and love
And I am not the bird,
But the blue sky in which you glide
and meet the one
You so dearly love.
I am Cupid
you will not feel my arrow,
But you will
feel the loved one
That touches you
ever
so
lightly...
LOVE
Ain't a game...
And I am not the spinner,
But the weaver
who embeds within your
heart, the threads of Love.
I am Cupid
bringing music and love
And I am not the athlete,
But the coach
Encouraging you to love
the one you see first
proceeding the penetration
of my arrow
into your heart.
I am Cupid
bringing warmth and love
And I am not the runner,
But the road in which
you run upon,
leading you to who you're
meant to love.
I am Cupid
bringing peace and love
And I am not the driver,
But the car in which you
ride
that brings you to the
source of your flame.
I am Cupid
bringing lust and love
And I am not the kettle,
But the burner in which
I help heat things
up between you
and your new hope.
I am Cupid
bringing life through love
And I am not the god,
But the demi-god
through which I carry
out the task
of spreading
LOVE.
