There's No Sign Of Life

I wake up one morning and realize I'm not up at all
I see myself lying there lifeless as a doll
What could have happened to me last night I can only guess
There's no sign of violence only the strong signs of death
Does my family know I lie here lifeless
Is help on the way to cure this crisis
Speculation begins to cross my mind
Was I selfish enough to take my own life
No, I wouldn't have the balls for that
It must be something natural like a heart attack
What a shame it is to see me lying there
I can't stop but think of all the one's who care
Somehow I feel responsible for their sorrow
And the place in their hearts that's now left hollow
Right now it's to be awake that I strive
But this morning there's no signs of life
