Since when did this uphill battle become our slow decent
Stupid misinterpretations twist the words I meant
Why do we come back to the same damn topics of the other night
You find me perfect and you can't find another reason to fight
So you pick at all the small mistakes I make
Tear them wide open just to seal my fate
Take a look at yourself and the person you've become
Now ask yourself why I'd tell you your not the one
Use your head and realize your immaturity
It overshadows every bit of your hideous beauty
You look surprised like you've never known it all along
You can act naive and insist I got you all wrong
I can't breathe another breath of this air that we share
I've gotta leave before I bleed out the hate that I bear
