Looking downward at a face thats identical to mine
I feel this deep torn feeling
I feel so left behind
My minds drowning in chaos
My heart fulfills in pain
I lost my twin brother
Now Im fading in shame
I havent known him forever
But our life bond was strong
Im struggling to find serenity
Its really hard to hold on
Standing over your coffin
Was the hardest thing to do
Trying to hold back tears of heart ache
This death wasnt meant for you
I want my twin brother back
Ive only known him a few years
I grasp on to our memories
So I feel youre always here
The numbness has taken over my body
I yet have no control
I feel the nerves beneath my spin
My tears now flowing heavy and full
You seem so far away
Although your body lays so near
I hold on to your stillness
Like an image in a mirror
Youre looking so bractless
Im glade theres no more fear
This is getting pretty tough now
I need God to hear my prayers
So I can understand
How to become strong
I know your features will no longer be here
But I know besides me, is an angel in my ear
Youll show your love through guidenss
To give my heart the warmth
To know my twin brother is doing ok
