He's gone, I get it,
It's just too much to take in.
I never thought it'd be unbearable,
Couldnt imagine the pain within.
Oneday I love him,
Then all I feel is hate.
I wanna save what we had,
But I know it is too late.
Being alone's not bad,
Until you remember the hole in your heart.
Sometimes you feel healed and whole,
But then you see the pieces from when you fell apart.
It's as if I'm in heaven,
Then rush back down to hell.
Inside I'm torn to shards,
Am I obvious? Can you tell?
Sure some flames come and go,
But one festers in my head.
While he's happy and full of smiles,
I lie lonely in my bed.
In my mind are long lasting echoes,
Painful blows and forgotten tears.
He's the only one who stood by my side,
While I suffered throught those years.
Well, I guess we'll never see,
If he'll remain or finally go.
I'll live my life unaware,
For I'll never seem to know.
