Been there for me
Now you're not
Always been good
Now just looking for another shot
Got a new way to talk
Shady friends can't rely on
Changed the way you walk
Act as if I wasn't your shoulder to cry on
You can pretend all you want
I know who you once were
Silly dress-up games
All so you could be with her
And I'm not hating
No, I'm not mad
It's your life
And it's just too bad
You have to be wasting your heart
On somebody who didn't
Even want to be there from the start

Nice write. Unfortunately, people make this mistake all the time. It's hard to stand on the side and watch them try to fool others. Good descriptions, I liked your poem.
