Faceless couple
will be erased
and our sickness is like that dust:
Settled and caked in places,
colored like rust...
and we stay
and we stay away...
Two different things
all in the same day
You in me and then run away
taking with you the best in my day.
Babe - I just wring it out and soak it up;
it dries into the most disturbing dust...
Unsettling and only kicked up
when I'm overwhelmed without your love...
and we stay
and we stay away...
Two different things
in too many ways
You out there so far away
holding on to the things we don't say...
And we stay
