Jealousy

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

You feel the blood rush through your veins,
You add to it until you go insane.
It is something so simple, but with so much feeling,
It gets so strong, you feel like killing.
You lose your concious and become impulsive,
You let it grow more, now add on repulsive.
He smiles at her and it drives you crazy,
You don't know his intentions, it's still too hazy.
All human instincts have now been destroyed,
You let it grow even more, now add on paranoid.
It is something so simple, but with so much feeling,
You try to let it go, but there's just no healing.
Finally, one day everything bursts from the inside,
You look at her and become red-eyed.
You yell, you shout, you even scream,
You take it too far, you make it too extreme.
She has done nothing you are implying,
But now it's too late, she is sitting there crying.
Tears roll down her cheeks as she looks at you,
How could you have done this, what do you do?
She looks back up and tells me she has something to say,
I will never forget the words I heard that day.
"What made it so hard for you to see,
The only thing that mattered,
Was the fact you had me."
